First evening tour a great success
During the day, we encountered five different species of cetaceans (whales, dolphins and porpoises) today: We spotted the blue whales again, found some feeding humpback and minke whales, met some playful white-beaked dolphins and also got a glimpse at the smallest whale here in the North Atlantic, the harbour porpoise.
In addition to our tours at 10:00, 13:30 and 17:00 we also had an extra tour in the evening (at 20:15) tonight, which turned out to be a great success:
The sea was as flat as a mirror and we came across two groups of white-beaked dolphins (one of them very curious and playful) and a feeding humpback whale. We also took a look at Lundey, the Puffin Island, and enjoyed some hot chocolate on the way back with a nice view at the sunset.
From Sunday (1st of June) we will have more departures in our schedule and then we will also sail out daily in the evening at 20:00.
