First tour on Garðar for this season.

Today we headed out, yet again in absolutely beautiful weather. Our boat Garðar went out for its first tour of the season and it went really well. We went west towards the Creek Mountains and got really close to them. They were stunning today with the sun shining on them. Close to the mountains we also had lots of whales feeding. We saw two Humpback Whales and they were as delightful as always. They came up really close to the boat and showed us great flukes! We also saw quite a few Minkey Whales. They were all busy feeding today and came up often, close to our boat. 

It was a fantastic day out on Skjálfandi bay with lots of whales and beautiful weather. Lets hope it stays this way. 🙂
