Fantastic weather and minke and blue whales
To day as we headed to the bay it was sunny and fabulous weather. Sun was shining and almost no clouds to see.
We decided to head towards the western side of the bay in search for the whales. After about 40 minutes of sailing we found a Minke whale and got a good look at it even though it was diving for long periods. Later we decided to head further towards the mountains in the west to try to find more whales. After a bit of a search we found an other minke whale and also got a grate look at that one.
Also we got a grate look at the landscape on the west side of the bay.
In the second trip we set the course a bit more towards north as we had gotten news of something bigger there. Indeed there was some thing bigger, a Blue whale. Also we got a grate look on that one as it surfaced once close to us. It was stunning how big those animals get.
On the way home, on both trips, we enjoyed hot chocolate and cinnamon buns.
