Humpback, minke whale, harbour porpoise and puffins in one trip
North Sailing had a fantastic trip yesterday afternoon. A minke whale, humpbacks, harbour porpoises and puffins greeted the guests and crew in excellent weather conditions.

Þóra Katrín, the guide of the trip reported the first sightings after about 45 minutes of sailing. “A (nice) minke whale was spotted.” To explain nice, our experienced guides distinguish between whales and find some more cute than others.

“Shortly after that we spotted 2-3 humpbacks, harbour porpoises and dolphins. Oh yes and then we spotted a bunch of puffins, the summer is obviously on it´s way!”
North Sailing oak ships are very well suited for whale watching
The slow turning propellers on the oaks ships make less noise than many other and due to the excellent viewing conditions the North Sailing fleet is very well suited for whale watching.
