a beautiful day out

Just another beautiful sailing day out on Skjálfandi Bay.

In the morning we encountered a blue whale even before reaching the Puffins at Lundey. Later we spent some time with a few humpback whales. Everybody seemed to be in a nice and calm mood today, our passengers and the whales. On the was back to the harbour we had four sails up, and a happy crew onboard our schooner Hildur.

With a bit more wind in the afternoon, we got to set everything and had a nice sail back doing almost six knots under sail only.
