Whale watching 7th of September
The Whale Watching season in Húsavík is nearing the end but still, every day so far in September, quite many travelers embark North Sailing´s tours.
Today, 70 passengers went out on Náttfari, our biggest boat, to seek for whales on Skjálfandi Bay.
At this time of year, some of the whales have already started migrating to their winter locations in southern waters. However, in the trip today, 3 species were spotted: Minke Whales, Harbour Porpoises and White Beaked Dolphins.
These pictures below were taken today, when passengers were boarding and on the tour.
