North Sailing´s Staff Site updated
North Sailing’s Staff-site has now been updated. Both there are new faces to be introduced, plus informations on our staff has been updated.
This summer North-Sailing welcomes an excellent group of new people to work, and besides new staff there are a couple of individuals that have been part of our crew before.
Here below, a part of our new staff can be seen, and in addition to them we happily welcome to work with us: The finnish “mermaid” Sara Tobiasson, Þórhildur Jónsdóttir (they have both worked with us before), Berglind Steinadóttir who started in our office in the beginning of the season and Martin Varga, who comes all the way from Dortmund, Germany, to assist us on the boats.
Here our Staff-site can be visited.

Einar Ófeigur Jónsson
Einar is one of the most experienced whale watching captains in Iceland, he has worked as such during the summer since 1997 when he steered Moby Dick on Skjálfandi Bay. Also, Einar is very handy when it comes to materials such as tree and iron and when it comes to computers and telecoms he is definetly at his best.
Arnþrúður Dagsdóttir
Arnþrúður, or Ditta as she is often called, has been living in Holland the last years, where she among other things studied Art. In addition to Dutch, Ditta speaks Spanish and German and is therefore a great add to the language collection of our guides. It´s a pleasure to have her work with us.
Frédéric Gendron
Fredéric comes from France, where he studies tourismus and will be a part of the North Sailing Crew this summer as a trainee in the field.
Matthias Pelz
Matthias is german and newly moved to Húsavík but has lived in Iceland almost 3 years. He will be part of the North Sailing crew this summer and will work as a guide.
