A final farewell to a dear friend and colleague

Today we said our final farewell to a dear friend and colleague for 15 years, Captain Hreiðar Olgeirsson.

Hreiðar was first and foremost a person who loved working with people and animals, both of which made him an excellent whale watching captain.  A good spirited person, his warmth and storytelling skills were appreciated by crew and passengers alike. His unwavering respect for Mother nature was there for all to see.

Captain Hreiðar will be sorely missed by the North Sailing team that wishes to use this opportunity to pay their respect to his family and friends.

We are grateful for the time he shared with us. His legacy lives on.
