The first day of summer!

Today is the so-called “first day of summer“ in Iceland. It is not to say that this particular day is the first one this year to show some signs of summer. It is rather that this day has been assigned -or appointed- as the first day of summer in our calendars. There have in fact been plenty of summer days in Húsavík the days before today.

In beautiful weather, Bjössi Sör sailed out on a pleasure cruise today with 44 colleagues from SBA-Norðurleið (http://www.sba.is). The two companies, North-Sailing and SBA, have cooperated for years now and it was very pleasant for North-Sailing to have them as their guests today.

The whale watching season is just around the corner as North-Sailing will start its scheduled whale watching trips tomorrow at 13:30. Please contact our office for further information, either via e-mail or phone.
