The liveliness in Skjálfandi bay continues
The liveliness in Skjálfandi bay continues. Blue Whales and Humpbacks are entertaining us, as do the White Beaked Dolphins and the Minke whales.
The weather yesterday was not so good with cold wind blowing from the north causing rather bad sea conditions. Therefore we only sailed twice. Even so the results were magnificent. We found big groups of Dolphins and a really big Humpback mom with her calf by her side.
The weather today was excellent and the entire North Sailing fleet sailed out, packed with people who enjoyed watching four different species of whales.
The following pictures from yesterday’s tours were taken by Hilmar Valur Gunnarsson.
