A dozen years of loyalty
Mr. Sinclair Dunnet from Nature Trek has been coming here to Húsavík, visiting North Sailing with groups of people from the U.K. since 1996, this makes it the twelfth consecutive year. North Sailing was founded in 1995 and that means Mr. Dunnett has only missed the very first summer in Whale watching here at Skjálfandi Bay, so it can truly be said that he is a loyal friend of North Sailing.
Due to his retirement this was probably his last whale watching tour here in Húsavík as a tour manager, but we at North Sailing really hope that Mr. Dunnett will visit us again in coming years then as an honorary guest. After twelve years of loyal business we think that it is only fair that Mr. Dunnett can sail with North Sailing free of charge for the rest of his life.
Mr. Sinclair Dunnett with a little gift from North Sailing when
celebrating his 10th annual visit in 2006.
Mr. Dunnett was very happy after yet another whale watching tour yesterday morning; "the weather was good, sunny and calm sea. We saw a few Minkes, Humpbacks, a group of Dolphins and some passengers claimed that they saw a few Harbour porpoises, but unfortunatly I missed them. The crew did a great job informing us what was going on the whole time, and gave us a lot of information about the whales"
We at North Sailing would like to thank Mr. Dunnett for his visits through the years, and wish him all the best in the future.
