Construction work on Náttfari coming to an end

Those who have been following our news section on our website are aware of the reconstruction and renovation of North Sailing‘s vessel, Náttfari during the winter months.

 

The new railing on backboard and stern side of the boat is almost finished and the new 420 horsepower Scania engine is getting ready to be tested.

 

The woodwork of Náttfari was thoroughly worked on with new paint and oil varnish and various other improvements have been made.

 

With all of this work behind us, Náttfari has now the most elegant look and is almost ready for the summer season, which starts April 1st.

 

The engine of Bjössi Sör is being revised and Knörrin has been moved to the outside harbour next to our newest addition to the fleet, Garðar. All is almost ​​ready for the upcoming season.
