Blue whales spotted again!
The blue whales that we found a few days ago didn’t stop for long but yesterday our crew on Bjössi Sör spotted TWO BLUE WHALES again! This is very good news and gives us great hopes that we’ll be having more blue whales coming in in the next days.
It’s therefore looking pretty good the life these days as yesterday we spotted a total of five species during the day: porpoises, white beaked dolphins, minke whales, humpback whale and of course the blue whales.
*UPDATE: The blue whales were spotted again this morning (3rd of June).
** And a second update: FIVE BLUE WHALES in the afternoon, humpback whales and the sun is shining!
The pictures were taken by Christian yesterday evening.
The blue whale is of course the largest animal ever to live on the planet.
A magnificent sight, the blue whale in the Icelandic midnight sun
