Cosy Sunday

Today was an excellant day to enjoy the beautiful scenary and wildlife in Skjálfandi bay. Several minke whales and at least 3 different humpback whales were spotted plus some porpoises. There were several special moments worth mentioning f.ex. when a humpback whale breached over 30 times right next to our boat Snorri! On my trip on Bjössi Sör today we had a humpback whale following us for more than 30 min. never surfacing further away than some 50 meters and sometimes getting pretty curious and surfacing really close up, to the surprise and excitement of everyone on board, including the crew!

Yet another beautiful and successful day out on Skjálfandi bay! 🙂
