Minkes, humpbacks and rain again

The nice weather only lasted one day, this morning it was raining and foggy again. So I wasn't very optimistic when me and captain Þórunn went out at 9:00. But despite the fog we saw one minke whale and we could follow it for a little while and it always came up next to us. But then we lost it into the fog and didn't see it again. Fortunately we had already seen it good.

My next trip was with captain Hrólfur and by then it was not as foggy but much more rainy. I have to say that I'm getting a bit fed of this constant rain. But since the fog had cleared up it was easier to spot whales and we saw both a humpback whale and a minke whale on this tour. The humpback whale was even breaching a few times. We saw it happen in the distance when we were on our way to the area but I think that the people on Knörrinn saw the breaching better.
