Beautiful day, lots of minke whales and dolphins

This was an amazingly beautiful day. No wind and the sun shining in the beginning, it was though raining a little bit in the evening. And I think I just had the funniest tour I’ve ever had. I went out at 17:00 with captain Bjarki and we hadn’t traveled for long when we saw a minke whale and it breached a couple of times. Then we saw splashes in the distance which turned out to come from the white beaked dolphins. And they were everywhere, playing around the boat and jumping. Then suddenly we had around 10 dolphins right next to the boat and 5 or 6 of them started jumping simultaneously. They were so close that the splashes came over the boat, it was so funny I just couldn’t stop laughing. But that was not the end of the tour, we saw three more minke whales. All of them curious and always coming up right next to the boat. And we had a bounus which was that the dolphins were next to Puffin Island so we saw thousands of them. Perfect.
