Four species and calm weather
Today the sea was very calm and conditions for whale watching were really good. We saw three species at the 10 o’clock trip, first off all a humpback how was taking it easy in the calm weather. Next we saw some white-beaked dolphins but they were quite far away so we chose to look at another animal that was in the area a blue whale. The blue whale came quite near the boat. Actually everybody on board were waiting silently for it come up and there was no wind, you just could hear the birds but suddenly it came up just some meters away and blew. It was amazing!
At the 13:30 trip we had just sailed for ten minutes when we saw a minke whale we took a look at it and then kept on. We had only sailed for another few minutes when we saw some white-beaked dolphins. Later on the trip we met a group of very playful dolphins and also a humpback whale.
