The Search
Trip #5 began with much anticipation…we tried really hard to locate the Minke-Whale we have seen yesterday…the weather was again “Icelandic” but it shows that our “April-passengers” are well aware of the weather conditions in this time of the year. All well prepared clothing-wise we headed out and faced the cold wind and drizzle. This time the Minke seems to have alluted us. We searched for a long time but were not able to spot him. Once again, the Harbor Porpoises took over the show, as well as the amny Sea-birds around. Lots of picturesw ere taken of the Porpoises and with a hot-chocolate and Cinnemon buns in our hands we set course back to the Port. I am impressed by our “hardened” passengers this year. Good atmosphere and mood on board for all those past days:-) No weather can take there mood away…hurray for our passengers.
