Countless humpbacks
Today Garðar went out on two trips and these two were no exception from last week! A bay full of humpbacks that were feeding and some of them even breaching and lop tailing. The crew felt as we were barely out of the harbor when we found the first humpback and after that it was almost difficult to decide where to go, it was one of those days that we have the luxury not knowing were too look. On both trips we saw five to seven humpbacks close to the boat but further there were at least five to eight more of them, it was getting hard to keep the exact number of the animals they were so many.
Though the weather was getting a bit windier and it was more cloudy then the day before it the whale watching was as good as ever. Both the passengers and the crew seemed satisfied with the trip, I was at least fascinated by the power of the lop tailing humpback and how long it could go on.
