The Humpbacks are back again!

I was very optimistic when we headed out on Garðar this morning, I was sure that this was going to be a good day. The reason for it was that last night we had seen humpbacks and that was my first encounter with them for more than a week. If you see a humpback on a whale watching tour the tour is almost always a success and the tours today where no exception. On the first tour we spotted two humpbacks and on the second tour we so on of them. Everything worked out as expected, they came close and lifted there flukes. On the first trip we also spotted a great cormorant flying by and that doesn’t  happen every day, I have never seen one before . As a guide it’s always great to see a new specie you get more excited.
