Another great day in Skjálfandi Bay!

Today we had another fantastic day out in Skjálfandi Bay. We encountered several humpback whales on both our tours. They were all very busy feeding and one of them was feeding really close to the boat, coming up with its mouth full of seawater and fish. They gave us a great show, surprising us by coming up really close to the boat and one of them even slapped its fluke for us once. Most of them were eager to show us their fluke, so we got some great views of their flukes going greacefully down. We also spotted a few minke whales and some harbor porpoises that were in a great mood, coming up pretty close to the boat. 

So, just another great day for whale watching. 🙂
