Hörður was the heart and soul of our company and a passionate advocate for nature and marine conservation. His enthusiasm for craftsmanship, expeditions, preserving our national heritage, and supporting coastal and maritime culture was truly inspiring. His vision and commitment to sustainable tourism and environmental protection were an inspiration to us all. Hörður had a sparkle in his eyes for the ocean that will be greatly missed by many.

We, the North Sailing family, bear the great responsibility of carrying forward his remarkable legacy.

Hörður understood better than most that successful tourism thrives in harmony with nature. He shared his profound love and knowledge of the ocean with countless individuals who embarked on our whale watching tours and expeditions.
