Originally built in Germany in 1951, schooner Opal is North Sailing’s flagship. In 2015, this beautiful sailboat became the first ship in the world to be installed with a regenerative plugin hybrid-electric propulsion. A unique technique that has received worldwide attention and awards for the eco-friendly initiative.
