Similarly, our 2-hour whale watching in Hjalteyri has been extremely well received. Hjalteyri is located near traditional whale watching areas in the scenic Eyjafjörður fjord, and we had a stunning 100% sighting rate in 2017! Only a 15-minute drive from Akureyri, the tiny fishing village is perfect for travelers under time pressure!
Lastly, our recently established whale watching and Northern Light cruises in Tromsø, Northern Norway, has been epic! It’s not only the passengers that love our electric, carbon-neutral schooner Opal but also the whales! As you can hear, the orcas are particular fans of our silent sailing ship gliding through the fjord!
