Five whale species celebrating the whale watching summer

The last few days in Skjálfandi bay have been absolutely fantastic. The beautiful weather and whale species found in the bay this weekend is a sign that the summer is arriving slowly but surely. It has been a while since we have had so many species visiting the bay all at once but Blue whales, Humpback whales, Minke whales, Orcas and Dolphins gave us a visit this weekend putting a smile on everybody‘s faces. It ain‘t bad starting May in such great company. We can of course not forget to mention the Puffins but thousands of our favorite birds have arrived in Puffin Island, their home for the next months.
