One lonely but entertaining friend

The weather has really turned to auomnly over the last days, the stong southern wuinds blowing throughout the day. We therefore got a very pleasant Arctic feeling, since it wasn’t that cold at sea. The swell didn’t help us finding the whales though.

We were still lucky enough to enjoy the presence of one gentle swimmer. This humpback whale enjoyed the cold waters of Skjalfandi Bay the whole day through and came very close to us on many occasion.

The weather should still be the same tomorrow, so if you were to join us, get ready to embark for quite an adventure, but definetly worth the ride, if the whales keep hanging in our neighbourhood…
