Pilotwhales in the bay !
On this day we were surprised with an unexpected pleasure, pilot whales!!! We found them feeding in the area of the puffin island Lundey. It was a large pod with around a hundred individuals. Our luck continued during the day, when we had several minke whales close to the boat, in an area where there seemed to be a lot of food. Especially the juvenile minke whale we encountered was a big treat. Several humpback whales were also spotted. Most of them seemed very relaxed, moving very slowly on the water-surface, until the afternoon, when several humpback whales started to jump. Two of those we could only see in the distance, but one animal gave us a great show not too far away from the boat. On our way back from the last tour of the evening we had the most amazing sunset, giving us the opportunity for some great pictures.
