Wet and cold, but beautiful
Hildur went out in the rain in the afternoon and it was wet and cold. You couldn´t see across the bay in this weather and the mountains surrounding
Skjalfandibay was hidden in the grey clouds. The guest onboard was in good mood and thougt the weather was just as like home, “just like british summer” said
the guest from Manchester, ”Not too cold” said a Swede. Beeing whalewatching now was almost like a difficult treasure-hunt, and everyone kept a lookout for the whales.
Then we meet them, first a humpback with a all black fluke who raised it up as it went for a deep dive. Not long after there was another whale and tihs one showed its white fluke for us.
Everyone where happy and smiling on the way back, relaxed with hot chocolate and happy to have been out on th bay at this small adventure.
