Very active Humpback Whales…..

We have been very lucky with the whales here in Skjálfandi Bay during the last couple of weeks and today was no exception: Even though it was a bit rainy and windy today we managed to find a lot of humpback whales on all our trips today. On some trips also got to see several minke whales and especially this morning, there was a big feeding frenzy close to the mountains in the western part of the bay with the whales feeding among hundreds of seabirds.

On most tours today there were even humpback whales seen jumping or tail-slapping so despite the rainy weather, the whale watching was amazing!
