Foggy and mysterious
Today was a little bit foggy here at the bay, but that didn’t stop us from meeting up with our great giant friends, the fog just made everything a little mystical and magical. We came to the west side of the bay and bumped into around 8 humpback whales enjoying a big sushi buffet and there were also some minke whales joining in from time to time. The humpbacks weren’t at all shy and were feeding up by the surface so we could in some cases see the baleen plates, they were also rolling around and showing their flippers and showing a nice fluke show. It was truly a magical day.
