A show far beyond our expectations

In the beginning of every tour we remind our passengers that we’re heading into the wild nature, meaning that there’s no guarantee for any sightings or activity. However, today it wasn’t necessary to keep expectations on a low level. None of us was expecting the incredible show that was awaiting us in the western part of the bay: Humpback whales, minke whales and harbor porpoises obviously had the feeding party of their life. Especially the humpback whales gave us stunning sightings by coming up lunge feeding, rolling around, presenting their long flippers and we could even look into their mouth, seeing the long baleen plates. And as if this wasn’t enough already, one of the humpback whales started lobtailing in the afternoon. Nothing can be more exciting than nature itself!!!!
