Summer is coming
Humpbacks and Minke whales were still here for us today.
Two of each specie in the morning, and a very nice time with the same small humpback that we saw yesterday in the afternoon.
The sun was shinning beautifuly, but the temperature was still rather cold.
Despite of what you may have heard again last evening, it is summer that is coming now to Iceland. But not there yet. So if you are to come with us, dress warmly and get your eyes and cameras ready. Because there are some beauties to watch in the bay lately…
A feeding minke whale
And the same whale, head off the water
Our first humpback of the day
And the young juvenile that we observed in th afternoon, obviously with some net around its body.
“So is the humpback bigger than this, daddy?
-Well, a bit….”
“The puffin to Lundey is about to take off, please fasten your seat belts and shut down all electronical devices…”
