The legend of the first great humpback day
The arrival of this day was foretold in mute voices by all North Sailing crew members. As if we were all alfraid to bring bad luck on the bay. But it finally came: Today was the first great Humpback Day of the season!
The first humpback only showed itself after an hour and a half in the morning, while the second one quickly killed all kind of suspense, as we had barely made it out of the harbour we it first appeard!
Our guest were in for a treat with them: close to the ship encounters, fluke-lifting moves and even a jump (that yours truly missed, since he was on hot chocolate duty for our passengers)….
Adding to it the calm sea and great weather, it was just a fantastic day. As the legend had predicted it…
