Surfin´ Skalfandi Bay
Going out at sea was a bit of a challenge for our passengers, since the sea was very bumpy.
But still, we went out twice and came back succesful on both tour, after having seen a minke whale in the morning and killer whales in the afternoon.
As challenging as the tours were for our guests’ stomachs, they stood proud on their spotting duties and came back with memorable souvenirs.
Whale-watching is, and will always be, an adventure!
Our passengers on the lookout for the minke whale.
And here it is, very close to the boat.
In the afternoon, we went from a large group of harbour porpoises…
… To a magnificient trio of their larger tooth-whales cousins, the killer whales.
They even came pretty close to the boat!
While the North of the bay pratically transformed itself into the perfect surfers’ hangout…. if it wasn’t for the 3/4°C sea temperature!
