Blue snow
It was a rather cold day out at sea. While going through a very windy tour in the morning, we still had the chance to find one of yesterday´s blue whales. It was rather calm and eventually came pretty close to the boat.
In the afternoon, the weather turned to snow, but our guests still proudly stood under the storm to enjoy the sight of the same animal.
I was very proud of our passengers as I came back to land. Their smile obviously showed that they understood how lucky that had been with being granted such gift by Mother Nature.
Our first apparition of the blue whale today.
Our passengers on the lookout.
The closest encounter with the blue whale of the day, all blow holes out.
And later its enourmous back, south of the bay.
Braving the afternoon snowy conditions, the guests did not miss a piece…
… of yet another blue whale show.
