Cold tour BUT a nice “a little” companion

More than 50 adventurers came today with us on the boat, for a very sunny but very windy and cold tour.

And it is after at least 2 good hours of intense searching that we finally had the chance to spot a minke-whale next to the so-called „Fish-Rock“. This was quite a small individual, but it appeared quite close to the ship, many times, and made the delight of our guests.

 Being our first minke whale since the beginning of our scheduled tours, we sure hope that it will bring more of his friends and be the first of many spotted Minke.

 

 

Today was a beautiful day….

 

 

… but probably one of the coldest day we have had so far.

 

 

Still, our guests were very focused on the water.

 

It allowed them to spot this small Minke whale on their own.

 

 

It swam around the ship for quite a while, which allowed us to see that it had not reached the maximum 10m-length of the fully grown adults.

 

 

And there, all eyes were obviously on the sea!!!
