They DID let the sunshine in….

The sun is finally back with us in the bay! After few stormy days, our guests were finally able to enjoy a beautiful sight on our daily tour.

We weren‘t lucky with the whales, despite our best efforts. But the guests will for sure keep a very memorable souvenir of this scenic cruise. Close to Viknafjöll, we even saw a large colony of Eider ducks!

The tour remained rather cold throughout the 3 hours, though. So if you plan on going out with us in the next days, make sure you are warmly dress. Remember, this country is called „Iceland“.

 

 

The so-called “Fish Rock”. It is one of the best hangout spot for whales in the summer but it did not prove to be succesful today.

 

 

Eider ducks on the take off. Their warm fethers were back in the days collected for many uses.

 

 

Well prepared passengers, assuming dilligently their spotting duties.

 

 

After the end of the “Fashion Week” in Paris, Husavik has decided to wear again its beatiful white winter coat.
