Orcas, Orcas, Orcas, Orcas! Yay!

Orcas! I have been guiding here for three months and been waiting to write this blog the whole time! Finally the animals that I adore more than most others (yes, of course our regular Humpbacks are darlings too) appeared in our bay! Not a common sight by any means here but when they do appear, it is as if I have Christmas and my birthday all on the same day! It was a group of 8-12, including at least one very large male that paid us a visit today. They came and they went but they will have left a sparkle in the eyes of everyone who was on our afternoon trip today, as well as a wide smile, not least on the guide writing these words. Nothing compares to the largest of the Dolphin family. Guys, do return soon – you make a great job even greater! 🙂
