Long waves but decent sea conditions and sightings
The first day of August has been much better so far than the last day of July was. This morning a Humpback Whale and several Minke Whales were spotted along with a group of White-beaked Dolphins and even Harbour Porpoises were spotted. In the afternoon a Humpback Whale was spotted close to where Skjálfandafljót glacier river runs into the bay and a Minke Whale was seen towards the western part of the bay. As this is being written, still one tour remains on Garðar and it will be interesting to see what will turn up!
