A whale takes to the air!

The highlight of today’s three tours on Garðar is not hard to pinpoint. The humpback whale that breached for us towards the southwest of the bay on the morning tour at least 10-15 times is the ultimate winner. The best thing is that it was a private show; we were the only boat nearby! Such a great sight to see this every single time it happens, although when it does happen usually gives no warning so those of us who work with these animals on a daily basis are as taken by surprise as the passengers!
