Summer is back
Yesterday I was at the sea for two tours on Gardar, and both of them were really good. Also, it seems that the rain is stopping, which is a good thing. Summer is coming after all!!
During the first tour we had the chance to observe quite close 2 different humpback whales in the bay. One of them was very relaxing, very easygoing, while the other one was really busy feeding; due to this we could approach much more the first one and also take a better look of her body.
After that, during the second tour, things were a little bit different. First we had a good sight of one of the humpback whales that we had seen during the first trip; and then we sailed towards the west because we saw some dolphins in the distance. We never found them again, they just vanished… but sailing close to the southern part of the bay we had a great surprise! We had the chance to see a breaching humpback whale!!!!! It was far away but magic even though.
