A humpback whale and good weather
Today we had good conditions for whale watching. The sea was calm and we managed to find a humpback whale in all four tours.
We went out four times today in pretty good conditions. Even though it’s getting closer to summer we still have cold weather, so it’s very important to dress warmly under the overalls we provide on board. The wind and sea was calm which made it easier for us to spot the animal. In all four tours we found a humpback whale. It was the same whale in all tours and we know that by looking at the pattern underneath the fluke. The humpback whale stayed around the same area the whole day and was very eager to show off its fluke. We were also lucky to see a few puffins on the sea today.
