A sign of a good summer
It´s not exactly what one would first think of as a sign of a good summer, but Icelandic folklore says different.

The story goes like this: If winter and summer frees together, the summer will be good. Perhaps this is a part of an incurable optimism that is necessary to live on this rock we call home. But if one learns any lesson in Iceland, it´s this: listen to folklore.
And if it snows on the second day of summer, use it to cool the beer of course, what else?
