Humpback and Dolphins spotted to day
Today as we headed out to the bay for the 16:00 trip we were looking forward to it. The reason for that is that we had been successful earlier. We set the course towards the north, where we and other boats had been seeing whales. After about an hour of sailing we arrived there and had not to wait for too long until we saw a spout. As the whale surfaced again we noticed that there was a Humpback whale. We got a great show from this one. As it was often surfacing, and lifting the fluke as it went for a deep dive. On the way back home we also got to see White beaked dolphins as they were hunting fish in the surface. After a fantastic show form them we set the course towards Húsavík and on the way we enjoyed hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls.
