Blue whaleparty in the bay
Today as I headed to the bay together with captain Hreiðar we decided to set the course towards north west. After about an half hour sailing we spotted a really big spout in the distance. As we got closer we noticed that there was not only one whale, there were three Blue whales side by side. As we got closer they split up and where surfacing all around us. One of them also showed us its fluke as it was going down for a dive. As we had gotten a grate show from the Blue whale we decided to go further towards north west. We had not been underway as we spotted an other spout in the distance. Later on we found there at least three Humpback whales. We also got a grate look at tow of them as they were feeding in the surface. After quite a time together with the Humpbacks we set the course towards Húsavík. On the way we enjoyed hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls.
