Two humpback whales jumping synchronously
To day, in the 13:30 trip we decided to go a bit further in to the bay because no boats have been there for some days. Soon we had seen a spout from a humpback whale. As we got to the area were we had seen the whale we did not notice it anywhere. As we had waited for some time suddenly two humpback whales jumped together behind us. We soon got even closer to them and they jumped few times more. After an hour of our tour we were not far from Húsavík harbor. Only about 5 minutes of sailing. But we decided to go further north to try out our luck there. Soon we saw one minke whale and followed that for some time. Later, as we had gotten a grate look at the Minke whale we went again bit further north. There we found an other Minke whale and also got a great lock at that one. On the way back we stopped for a moment at Puffin island. There we got to see the amazing amount of Puffins living in the island. On the way back we enjoyed hot chocolate and cinnamon roles.
