New whale watching ticket centre has been opened

 

North Sailing opened yesterday its new and state-of-the-art ticket office by Húsavík harbour. The ticket office is located in the top floor of the new whale watching centre, scheduled to be fully opened in the next few weeks. The ticket counter in the new ticket office is quite unique but the bow of an old Icelandic oak boat is utilized for that purpose. Other parts of the boat will be utilized on the lower floor of the whale watching centre, which gives the building an extraordinary but beautiful appearance.

 

 

We were very proud to have Helga Arnadottir, Director of the Icelandic Travel Industry Association sell the first ticket to one of our clients, and therefore formally opening the new ticket office.
