The bay full of life

Today, as we got out to Skjálfandaflói we set the course towards the area where we had seen plenty of whales yesterday. On the way towards the western part we enjoyed the weather and the sailing. As we came closer to the mountains we opened our eyes even more than before to find the whales from yesterday. We did not have to wait to long until the Minke whales showed up. Now we got a good look at them. To find the whales while they were diving we just had to follow all the birds, which were fling around us, among them where many Arctic turns, Fulmars and also Puffins. In the end we had seen at least three Minke whales. On the way back to Húsavík we enjoyed the Hot chocolate and the cinnamon roles.
