Mid-Atlantic Trade Show 2014
The Mid-Atlantic Trade Show, organized by Icelandair, was held in Reykjavík last weekend. This is an annual key event in the tourism industry as it allows travel industry professionals to meet, exchange ideas and work together.
Iceland is extremely conveniently located, midway between Europe and North-America, so buyers and suppliers from all over the world are able to work together. This relaxed environment allows participants to interact in multiple events and dinner parties as they strive to develop their business relationships. These events have proven to be a great success in strengthening the ties between thousands of travel professionals.
This year, over 700 travel industry professionals from 20 countries attended the Mid-Atlantic Trade Show, which illustrates the tremendous interest in Iceland and Icelandic companies in the industry.

On Saturday, North Sailing offered a post Mid Atlantic tour on Schooner Opal for travel agents attending the trade show.
