The humpbacks are still there….

We had not been able to go out the last two days because of really bad weather here in Húsavík. But today the weather conditions were much better and even though the waves were still a bit high we decided to give it a try and sail out in search for whales.

After about 45 minutes of sailing we spotted the blow from a humpback whale and just a few moments later we even saw a second whale! Two humpback whales, a very nice surprise!

We spent quite a long time with these whales (especially with one of them) and got some nice close-up looks before we went back to Húsavík harbour.
